Terms of Use
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These terms are intended to match the current Spoke product state described by the repository’s canonical documentation.
These Terms of Use govern your use of Spoke, a voice-first habit tracker for iPhone. By using Spoke, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Spoke on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules.
2. Product Scope
Spoke is a habit-tracking product. It is not a medical service, coaching service, or emergency service, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or treatment.
3. Voice and Apple Services
Spoke’s voice-first workflow depends on Apple frameworks and permissions, including microphone and speech recognition access. Apple services may be involved in how voice recognition works.
4. Apple Health
Apple Health integration is optional. If you authorize Apple Health access, you are responsible for managing those permissions on your device.
5. Cloud-Related Features
Spoke includes optional Apple cloud-related infrastructure in the product. Availability and reliability of those features may depend on your Apple device configuration and Apple services.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where law allows it.
- Use the app for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data related to the app.
- Misrepresent the app’s capabilities or ownership.
7. Data and Content
Habit names, logs, notes, and related content you create through Spoke are your responsibility. Spoke is a tool for recording habits, not a guarantee of outcomes or consistency.
8. No Outcome Guarantee
Spoke is designed to reduce logging friction, but it does not guarantee improved adherence, retention, streaks, or behavior change.
9. Availability and Changes
Spoke may change over time. Features, workflows, and legal text may be updated as the product evolves.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Spoke is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfectly accurate voice recognition in every situation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Spoke.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
